Peninsula Recorder Ensemble – Mount Martha

The Peninsula Recorder Ensemble is a group of local musicians who have discovered the joy of playing recorder, as a solo instrument and with fellow enthusiasts.  Beate Lackman, who leads the Peninsula Recorder Ensemble, is an Associate of the Trinity College London and has been teaching and playing the flute on the Mornington Peninsula for many years.  All Ensemble players share a long standing interest in the recorder and its versatility.

Together we have fun exploring music from many periods – from the Renaissance and Baroque, to Jazz, Folk Songs and Contemporary Music.

We invite you to share our love for the recorder in its different shapes and sizes and our enjoyment of making music
