Love to paint but want to share ideas and techniques with others? Have fun painting with fellow artists – any subject of your choice. Classes are untutored, however, you will be working alongside established artists.

Boomerang Bags is a grass-roots, community driven movement. It’s a sustainability conscious group tackling plastic pollution at its source.

Volunteers from all walks of life get together to make re-useable ‘boomerang bags’. These bags are made from using recycled materials. It’s a fantastic sustainable alternative to plastic bags. Come along and join this new group, help create these bags and meet other people. No experience necessary, fun & free.

Brooke is a multidisciplinary creative who works in Event Design, Bespoke Installation, and Craft Workshops. With experience in floristry, editorial design, styling, prop building, mural painting and more, her goal is to use all of these practical skills to help bring fantastical ideas to life!

With a design approach that is theatrical and immersive in nature, she draws inspirations from a mixture of 90s childhood nostalgia, pop culture, and her own take on current trends.

POP-UP: Linocut Printing Workshop

WHEN: Wednesday 10 April 1-3PM 

COST: $15 per person

Explore the art of linocut printing, whether you’re a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, this workshop is perfect for all skill levels.

During the workshop, you’ll learn the techniques and tools needed to create your own linocut print. Brooke will guide you through the process, from designing your own unique linocut pattern to carving it onto a linoleum base. Once your design is ready, you’ll get to experiment with different colours and print your masterpiece onto coloured paper.

Not only will you leave with a newfound skill, but you’ll also have the chance to connect with fellow art-preneurs in a relaxed and friendly environment. So grab a friend or come solo! Parents are welcome to drop off or hang around during the workshop.

2 Hour Workshop Provides:

– Participants with a 10x15cm lino rubber base

– Access to inspiration, tracing paper and an ipad to help bring their vision to reality

– Tips and tricks on how to get their desired effect

– An array of coloured paper and inks to experiment with

– Suitable for ages 12-18yrs

POP-UP: Shaving Cream Art | Marble Printing

WHEN: Wednesday 10 April 11-11.45AM

COST: $10 per person

An exciting opportunity for participants to explore the art of marble printing using shaving cream (of all things!?)

During the workshop, kids will be able to create their own marble prints. Brooke will guide you through the process, you’ll get to experiment with different colours and print your masterpieces onto coloured paper.

Grab a friend or come solo! Parents are welcome to drop off or hang around during the workshop.

Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to unleash your creativity and have a great time.

45 Minute Workshop Provides:

– All materials and tools required to create marbled shaving cream art and change colours 3 times.

– A selection of different objects to print their art onto (cards, paper stock, beads, coasters, and more!)

– Photo backdrop – so they can pose with their artworks proudly

– Suitable for primary school aged children 5-11yrs


Share you passion or interest in knitting or crocheting!

Come and make new friends while knitting or crocheting beanies, scarves and blankets. Craft items will go to charity groups such as the Knit One Give One (KOGO) group.

Writing can be a lonely journey and inspiration can be fleeting. This is a supportive group for aspiring and established writers to connect, share ideas and pass knowledge. Discuss your ideas, challenges and be inspired by members of the group. You can also have your read and receive constructive feedback.

Writers from all genres and styles are welcome.

New members, guests and the curious are very welcome.
