Love to paint but want to share ideas and techniques with others? Have fun painting with fellow artists – any subject of your choice. Classes are untutored, however, you will be working alongside established artists.
This is a small group that we would love to grow – you are welcome to bring a friend with you if you would prefer. Please speak to staff if you have any questions about this session.

Boomerang Bags is a grass-roots, community driven movement. It’s a sustainability conscious group tackling plastic pollution at its source.
Volunteers from all walks of life get together to make re-useable ‘boomerang bags’. These bags are made from using recycled materials. It’s a fantastic sustainable alternative to plastic bags. Come along and join this new group, help create these bags and meet other people. No experience necessary, fun & free.

Come and make new friends while knitting or crocheting beanies, scarves and blankets. Craft items will go to charity groups such as the Knit One Give One (KOGO) group.

Welcome to Canvas Cafe
This is a social painting group. Each week you get a new theme to inspire your painting! This group does not have a teacher but is lots of fun and a great space to practice your skills!
This is an opportunity to develop your skills in a relaxed environment. Please note that this is not a tutored session, but rather an opportunity to learn from other participants in the group. You have a booklet each term to source inspiration from.
Day: Thursdays during school terms.
Time: 1- 4pm
What to bring: Just yourself!
Cost: $10.00 per week
We understand that you might not be able to attend a session that you have booked in for – and we will ALWAYS offer refunds but would appreciate you letting us know so we can offer up your place for that week if needed.
All materials will be supplied for your classes: these include a 12 x 16 inch canvas, acrylic paints and brushes. You are also welcome to bring your own supplies with you.

In can be an unfinished patchwork, quilting or knitting project. Well, this is a perfect group to work on your project! You’ll spend time working on your project while catching up with other crafters.

Every Wednesday Room 7 will be available for you to gather for a cuppa and some craft.

Please note: This is an unfacilitated group, that was started in response to Community feedback – it is new, and we are trying to establish a regular group. You are welcome to bring a friend, or spread the word to other crafties, looking for a place and a time to work on their projects! You can speak to reception staff if you have any other questions.

Bring along your favourite paper crafting project and enjoy a relaxed, social crafting session. Whether you’re into scrapbooking, card making, quilling, journaling, or other papercrafts, everyone is welcome.
