Join a friendly group of book lovers.
Do you enjoy reading and discussing books? Our book club is looking for like-minded book lovers. We’ll discuss authors, characters, themes and meanings of books. Books are loaned to participants by the Mornington Peninsula Library Service. Come for a cuppa and a chat, meet other locals who enjoy reading.

Thai Fish Cakes (Tod Mun Pla)
Fragrant fish cakes infused with red curry paste, kaffir lime leaves and fresh herbs, served with a refreshing cucumber relish.
Authentic Pad Thai
Thailand’s famous stir-fried rice noodles with chicken and prawns, cooked with tamarind, palm sugar and fish sauce, finished with fresh bean sprouts, garlic chives, roasted peanuts and lime.
Mango Sticky Rice
A classic Thai dessert of creamy coconut sticky rice served with sweet ripe mango and toasted sesame seeds.

Our cooking classes use shared kitchens, equipment and utensils, so we cannot guarantee an environment free from allergens. The menu for this class is fixed, and we are unable to accommodate menu changes or ingredient substitutions.
Guests are responsible for advising us of any allergies before booking and checking whether the menu is suitable for their dietary needs.
Learn French with an experienced native French teacher in a relaxed and comfortable environment. The lessons are practical, interactive, engaging and playful with an immersion in the French culture. You can join a class at any time.

Peninsula Bushwalking Club brings together enthusiastic walkers who enjoy exploring the joys of bushwalking.
We encourage you to come and join us as we explore the Mornington Peninsula, regional Victoria, interstate, and also overseas destinations. We want you to explore your horizons and join some like-minded, friendly people in your outdoor pursuits.

Argentinian Tango Classes & Social Events
Tango is a beautiful way for people to express themselves, no matter who they are, where they come from and whether they in fact speak the same language.
Speaking tango is all that is required. On the dancefloor, everything becomes irrelevant, apart from the music and the embrace.
Tango on The Bay runs Weekly Tuesday night “Argentine Tango Classes”
6pm – 7pm: Tango Fusion: Beginners and Improvers
A dynamic blended class designed for both beginners and those looking to build on their skills. This class offers the perfect blend of foundational techniques and creative exploration.
You’ll learn essential tango steps, posture, and musicality, all while developing confidence in your dancing. Beginners will receive personalised attention as they grasp the basics, while improvers will have opportunities to enhance their technique, experiment with new movements, and explore more complex aspects of the dance.
Casual/ Weekly $20 per person (inclusive of practice time 7pm – 7.30pm)
7.30pm – 9.30pm: Open Level Class
The inclusive, community-driven, and creative nature of an open-level Argentine tango class offers something valuable for everyone. It’s an excellent way to grow as a dancer while enjoying the beauty and connection that tango embodies.

From enthusiasts to experts, share your passion for all things railway modelling. Learn new skills, make new connections or share knowledge!
HO Scale club layout with Digital Command Control. The club caters to a variety of interests, prototypes and all skill levels from beginner up. Members share their skill and knowledge of layout building from track to electronics to scenery.
The clubs’ activities include running sessions, open days, working on the club and members layouts and social activities.
